The National Day of Prayer was celebrated at the County Court House.  
It was origionally scheduled for the front steps but because of rain, it
was moved inside.
The mayor of Sutton started the ceremony and introduced Pastor doug
who lead the citizens present in a prayer for our Nation. Wish you could
have been there.

We waited outside for the rain to stop but had to move inside for the
Ceremony.

If you are able to help with the Card Ministry of  Christ Church by
providing stamps, cards, or money to purchase these items it would be
greatly appreciated.

We have sent 68 cards from Jan.- May 2007. In 2006 we sent 275
cards. We hope these cards have meaning to the recipients because they
are sent with great thoughts and prayers.

Also, if you would like to have your family birthdays,anniversaries or
illnesses sent a card please write the names and dates down and give
them to Roberta Coleman (765-5843).

Thus far we have not had to take any money from the church budget for
this ministry. Several persons have given cards, stamps and money for
this ministry from Christ Church. Thanks for any help you can give us with
this project.
