Stacey West's son Justin played
for the Rebels this year. His team is
17 and 0 with one game left. He has
had a great season and enjoyed
playing very much.

The success of the Mother-Daughter Banquet can be attributed to the
many worker's involved. The United Methodist Women, who sponsored
the event, wish to thank so many men and women. The beautiful table
decorations and favors were the "crafty" skills of Kim Smailes and
Shirley Kitzmiller. The printed programs were made by Janie Cutlip.
The activities were planned by Carol Jamison, Kim Smailes and Janie
Cutlip. The pork loin smoked to perfection was done by the hands of
Pastor Doug and Dave Hoover. The cooking of the meal under difficult
conditions (including a call to 911 by Bob Flint and a trip to the kitchen
at the Community Building), was handled by Chef Jody McPherson. The
singers, mother-daughter duo's and one trio with grandma, added so
much to the evening. The photo opportunity upstairs was an added
bonus. Thanks to all who brought desserts, provided drinks, helped
serve and clean up. Thanks to Betty Hickok for collecting the money at
the door. We will miss her so much when she moves to Morgantown this
Summer. An extra thank you to Donna Steele, Kim Robinson and Carol
Jamison for the spontaneity of suggesting the group song of "D'em
Bones". Everyone was so very nice and thanks to all who helped in any
way and to everyone who came. -- Ruth Mooney
