Christ Church UM will once again hold their Free Turkey
Dinner for Senior's (65&over) on Saturday, November 10th
beginning at noon. Free Turkey dinners will be served to any
senior who places a reservation with the Dinner committee.
You can Eat-in or we will deliver to shut-ins. If you haven't
already put in you reservation, just fill in the following form
and put it in the collection plate or get it to the United
Methodist Womens Committee by November 6th.

The General Fund Cash Flow for the Month of September was
as follows:
**Balance at the Beginning of August -- $7,870.91
**Budgeted Income for August ---------- $10,363.19
**Unbudgeted Income for August ------- $20.00
**Budgeted Expenses for August ------- $9,999.34
**Ending Balance for August------------- $8,254.76

The Memorial Fund Cash Flow for the Month of August was
as follows:
**Balance at the Beginning of August -- $11,678.18
**Interest Earned ------------------------ $7.20
**Ending Balance for June ------------- $11,685.38

If you wish to have a more detailed breakdown of our
financial status please attend the next Church Council
meeting scheduled for November.

   A memorial service was held on October 27th at 11:00 AM
for Hildegard S. Izbicki, 87, who died on August 31, 2007 at
the home of her daughter and son-in-law Gudrun and
Camden Brown of Sutton, from Alzheimers disease.
   She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Elke
and David Seitel of SanDiego, California, 5 grandchildren, 8
great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
   The church choir sang two beautiful songs and Pastor
Doug gave a message of hopeand mercy to those in
attendance.
   A very nice Silde presentation showing Hildegard's life
journey was presented.
   The church women provided a light lunch for the family
after the service.

Merciful God, be thou now unto me a
strong tower of defence. Give me

patiently to bear what you doest
unto me, nothing doubting or
mistrusting thy goodness towards
me. Therefore do with me all things
as thou wilt: Only arm me, I beseech
the, with thy armour, that I may

wholly to thy will, being assuredly
persuaded that all thou doest cannot
