Christ Church United Methodist Sutton WV - Volume 3   Issue 6   May 2008

On March 30th, 2008 the Christ Church United Methodist Choir joined with the Sutton
Baptist Church Choir for an evening of beautiful music in celebration of Christ.  As has
become custom on the fifth Sunday of a month, a service of music was once again held.  
The unique event of this fifth Sunday was the joining of the voices of the two choirs in an
evening service held at the Sutton Baptist Church.  It was a glorious night of music.  The
next fifth Sunday of 2008 occurs on June 30.  Hope you'll be there.  We'll have more info
as to where it will be held in the June newsletter.

On April 20th, the congregation of Christ Church was treated to the uplifting music of The
Riffle Family. What a joyous sound it was!

An evening of tribute to Bill Rader was held on Tuesday, April 29th at 6:45 PM.  Dessert,
stories, photos, singing and fellowship were shared. (Click to enlarge)
