Volume 4, Number 4 April 30, 2009

The Easter Cantata was a huge success. The program started with a
Welcome, Scripture, Prayer and a congregational hymn 'The Old Rugged
Cross. Then the Choir came walking in and took their places on the stage.
The first song was a medley of "Celebrate Jesus, Crown Him with Many
Crowns and He's Alive". This was followed by "In Christ Alone (My Hope
is Found)" with Soloist Eric Skidmore. This was followed by "Remember
Me", "The Cross" and "He is Risen with Soloists Tim Hoover and Carol
Jamison. Next came "Redeemer with Soloist Mandy Jones, "You are My
King (Amazing Love) and the final song "No More Night".
Six different Churches were represented by the thirty three member choir:
Christ Church United Methodist, Gassaway United Methodist Church,
Shilo Fellowship Church, Stump Chapel Church, St. Thomas Catholic
Church, and Sutton Baptist Church.

Message from the Director
Once again it has been my pleasure to work with these talented people.
Coming together as one unit with disregard to denomination, singing
praises to GOD and giving HIM glory for all HE has done in our lives.
Many thanks to all of you for your time .
